Port Dover, Ontario
Nestled along the north shore of Lake Erie in Norfolk County is the community of Port Dover. With a harbour that is used by fishing vessels and tourists alike the population of Port Dover increases in the summer time as beachgoers descend on the large public sandy beach.
Since 1981 Port Dover has also been home to the Friday the 13th Motorcycle Rally which is held on every Friday the 13th, regardless of weather.
Port Dover is a great family destination as well with numerous shops, restaurants and attractions. For a small fee visitors can take a one-hour boat tour along Black Creek and Lynn River and learn about local history.
